2007, Hands Project

The first project for the introduction to photography class, I feel that I achieved much with this picture. Cropping out the head and the feet, I tried to focus in more closely on the hands. One thing that I got lucky with was the lighting that day. As the light streamed through the window, it only caught part of the player. The rest of his body is left in the dark. I love the play of light that helps define this photograph.
